While this assignment may seem straightforward to many, it taught me a valuable skill to apply to my future career. This assignment taught me the importance of understanding and identifying the characteristics that differentiate a research paper from other forms of writing. In completing this assignment I learned to critically evaluate the purpose, structure, and sources of a document to properly determine its classification. This knowledge is crucial as I embark on my schooling journey to become a Mental Health Counselor.
